EMPA Conference 2012

Sunday 6th - Tuesday 8th May

Sebel Albert Park, Melbourne, Australia

“From Frontline to Headline”

Crises can take you to places that are harsh, remote and friendless. Getting messages to the audiences who need them means strategic planning, great media relationships and trained and equipped teams where you need them.

This year’s conference focuses on the challenges of the crisis communications supply chain. Getting our messages to market.

You’ve had a long drought. Suddenly the rains come and you have a harvest. Maybe you weren’t as ready as you could have been. But now you have to respond.

How do you get your products to market when infrastructure fails you, opposing forces conspire against you, the market sees your products as poor quality or not delivered on time?

CEO’s Message

EMPA is the only organisation of emergency response and recovery media and public affairs, crisis communicators and corporate media relations practitioners in the world.

The EMPA conference has become a permanent fixture on the emergency management calendar in Australia.

The EMPA conference is recognised by the highest levels of State/Territory and federal governments, with their media liaison and public affairs practitioners supported to attend conferences.  Attendance at the EMPA conference has been rising, and should exceed 100 delegates in 2012.

It is the aim of the EMPA Conference Committee to provide the highest quality program, with featured, top level overseas and local speakers.

I hope you can join us in Melbourne, for what will be a rewarding and enjoyable industry event.
